G.Woodman-Colorado (Strawberry X Blackforest Casey breeding, Daisy's brother) : "To say we are
delighted with "Kalvin" would be an understatement - He is now 2 1/3 years old---he is
hunting/retrieving/pointing well beyond what one might expect for his age- he is doing great!! His
temperament and personality is considerably beyond description - he is an absolute delight as a
companion and house dog although I must say he is taking a bit more room on the bed than his share.......
Last year we shot well over a hundred birds over him . Every one that sees him immediately falls in love
and he definately can win people over with his outstanding temperament. Realize it may sound like I am
overstating his good and great points but that is just the way he is - I have previously had some pretty great
Labs but this pup is over the top on all issues...."
K. Anderson-Washington (Rosie X Blackforest Casey breeding): ..".Grace is doing well. She continues
to be an absolute joy....People actually stop me to tell me how well-behaved and beautiful she is. All I
can reply is "I know!!!"
M. Ramerman -Issaquah, Washington (Stawberry X Blackforest Casey
breeding):..".Bocephus is doing very well.....I am crazy about him. I take him nearly
everywhere I go, including to work some days. Regardless of his ultimate hunting
prowness, he is a wonderful companion to me. I do hope to get him in the field next
Season."
M. Rosano- California (Strawberry X Blackforest Casey breeding ...Daisy's sister)" I have Ruby's sister Bella. She
has been a wonderful blessing to our family. I am so glad God brought her to me...soon after we got her I got very
sick. It ended up to be M.S. Bella would stay by me all the time. She would bark to let me know when someone
was at the door or what ever. She is sooooo loving and sweet. She loves to chase after the ball or bumper. She is
an all around great family dog. This school year I am sending my son off to college, he is my last one. So I am so
glad to have my Bella . That has been our life with Bella for the past almost four years. Thankyou for breeding a
wonderful dog."
L. Keehn- Canada (Rosie X Blackforest Casey breeding) ...."Copper is doing great and loves the
outdoors with great enthusiasm. I know he actually smiles when he knows he's heading out on
another adventure....We hope you enjoyed the pictures, we have a thousand of them!!!! "
T. KIng- Snohomish, Washington (Strawberry X Blackforest Casey breeding)... " Rosie is doing great . We made it
thru the puppy stage and everyone still loves her. ...I have been following the Knutson book JIm gave me...Rosie
is responding well to all the training....Joanne and I would love to get together with your family again and reunite
Rosie with Mom and Red Daisy Jane. JIm and I could share Hunting and Fishing stories. Let him know I just
picked up 4 Steelhead fishing on the Olympic Peninsula on Tuesday. I don't take Rosie fishing ....If she had
thumbs it would be a different story. She can't hold onto the rod...."

David Mork-Sauk RIver Labs-Osakis, Minnesota (Strawberry x Blackforest Casey breeding,
Daisy's sister)... " Scarlet is one of the strongest pointing labs I have seen. We purchased
Scarlet from Jim and Andrea Morgan in the State of Washington. We don't keep many of the
pups we buy but Jim and Andrea provided us with a fine dog. She is a deep red lab who is a
born huntress. She held her first point for more than 80 seconds. Scarlet has a special talent
for tracking moving birds. Jake and Scarlet are a dream match-up in terms of pure pointing
instinct...."
G. Robinson-Toronto, Canada (Strawberry X Blackforest Casey breeding).... Casey is doing extremely well
and is every bit the wonderful dog that so many of your other owners claim. As you may recall, we live in the
middle of Toronto. I run and bike with him everywhere, all off-leash. He is quite remarkable in that "off the
road" is a clearly and immediately understood command, he automatically stops and sits at every road crossing
and will sit outside of any store I need to go into. A few years ago we went on vacation and forgot his leash;
turned out we were just fine without it. He simply won't leave us. I don't know how much of this is a result of
his being nursed back to life, and/or Knudson's advice to 'take your dog for a walk', which I did religiously
while he was still a pup, but he has certainly turned out extremely well. LIke your other references, everybody
comments on what a fantastic dog he is."
C.SIsk- Seattle, Washington area (Daisy x J. Taylor breeding)..... Sadie is a
really great dog - she's been to family, friend's houses, pet stores and
everywhere she goes she gets along well with other dogs, cat, people! People
are just amazed at her temperament. We love her - think I've said a few times
already? You must have taught her to sit because she does that on command,
and also how to retrieve a ball because she does that too and drops it at our
feet! (at 10 weeks old.) Thank you again! ps : you can use anything I've said as
a reference on your web page if you'd like, I'm a believer! :-)
B. Holms - Idaho (Daisy X J. Taylor breeding).... I just wanted to tell you folks how much we enjoy our
pup Torque. We took him on his first Pheasant hunt and was real surprised on how well he did. It took
about two flushes before he started to realize what we were there for, but just at 5 months old he was
out beating the bush like he had been doing it for years. I couldn't believe how Birdy he was just for his
first time out. I Have attached a picuture hope you enjoy. Thanks.
