We are very excited about Cash’s future with us! Cash is super sweet natured, excellent nose, athletic, smart and has taken to training and hunting quite naturally! He has a great Point and loves to retrieve! He is very intuitive and a joy to hang out with! A quick peek at his pedigree shows he comes from the best of the best in bloodline! Cash’s hips are PENN hip evaluated with no evidence of osteoarthritis or degenerative joint disease. His genetic panel is clear of PRA/PRCD, EIC, CNM, and SD2.
MPR’s Captain Morgan is owned by both us and our brother, John Morgan, who Captain lives and hunts with and is trained by. Captain is able to play the game at any level with style and grace! At his one year birthday he accomplished his Started Hunter Retriever with HRC. Shortly after that he attained his Certified Hunter Pointer Retriever with APLA. Cappy is a super star in the field, water and at home! He has a beautiful point, is very receptive, easy to train, and loves to please. At night he gets to sleep at the foot of John’s bed!
His genetic DNA health tests are perfect. PENN hip xrays show no osteoarthritis and a nice tight DI of 0.33. OFA elbow prelim’s are negative for dysplasia. He weighs around 70 pounds and is well proportioned.
Born 11/27/2022, Bo is the son of our Molly and Ruger( Cowboy x Lucy).
He lives in central Washington farmland, right in the middle of pheasant country! He is loved by his family, is good with babies and is extremely athletic! He enjoys bird hunting and is one of the fastest swimmers! Bo has a beautiful point! He weighs around 68 pounds and is all muscle, with a beaver like tail.
Penn hips show no radiographic evidence of Osteoarthritis for either hip and no cavitation. Genetic health tests are negative for everything that can be tested for in dogs at the time of testing, by Embark DNA.
Chase is the son of Piper and Duke. His coloring is considered “Sable”. When he was a puppy, his coloring was like the puppy in the middle, in the photo just under this paragraph on the right. Chase has already been to Baxter’s Bird Dog training camp and honed and demonstrated his pointing and retrieving abilities. He has a beautiful point and is an excellent retriever. He is owned by Morgan and Katie Hutchings and their 3 children, close friends of ours and also the owner of Duke! They have kindly allowed him to be part of the Morgan’s Point Ranch breeding program! Chase’s PENN hips show no degenerative joint disease and no osteoarthritis. Chase’s genetic testing shows clear of any genetic disorders commonly seen in labs. Chase is super sweet in nature and aims to please!
As someone once said….. a picture is worth a thousand words! Ruger, bred by Morgan’s and owned by Luke Coulter, is most definitely our poster child of Morgan’s Red Pointing Labs. Much credit goes to his owner, Luke, for developing his talents and sending him to Baxter’s Bird Dogs for training and fun! Ruger, born in 2016, is the son of Cowboy and Lucy, he is Luke’s constant companion on and off the worksite. He is super athletic, has a very staunch, and high tail point, as well as loves the water! Luke and Ruger duck hunt almost every morning during hunting season, before heading off to work together. Ruger has never met a stranger; he is very sweet, a gentleman/dog in the highest degree! He is genetically clear of EIC, CNM, PrA and PRcd. His PENN hip DI is .26 , very tight hips and is negative for osteoarthritis
